I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Kentucky, specializing in International Relations and Research Methods. My research focuses primarily on the strategic dimensions of international conflict, diplomacy, and the geopolitical implications of territorial dynamics. With a strong interest in how geography influences state behavior, my work aims to uncover the operational determinants of military strategy, examine spheres of influence, and explore patterns of diplomatic interaction.
I am originally from a small town in Central Ohio. I completed my Bachelor of Arts at Marietta College in Southeast Ohio, where I double-majored in Political Science and History, with a minor in Geographic Information Science (GIS). Through my studies, I have developed a strong methodological skillset, particularly in econometrics, spatial data analysis, geospatial data visualization, all of which continues to inform my research today.
